Integrations

Möbius rides your integration fabric. It does not become another hub.

The first question an architect asks about a governance layer is what they have to rip out. The answer is nothing. Möbius joins at the seams a data estate already has — the orchestrator, the transformation layer, the CI pipeline, the warehouse, the SIEM, the downstream consumers, the AI hosts — and adds enforcement at each one without asking to sit in the middle of any of them.

Pipelines signal it · dbt seeds it · CI ships it · warehouses keep the data · SIEMs subscribe · downstream systems hear · AI hosts connect

Seven seams. None of them require replacing what is there.

Pipelines

Your pipelines signal it

Airflow, Dagster, Spark, dbt, Snowpipe — or anything that emits OpenLineage or CloudEvents — tells Möbius that a set of tables just loaded. Möbius re-evaluates the affected claims immediately.

Governance reacts to your estate's own events. There are no agents to install in your pipeline hosts, and nothing polls your warehouse on a timer waiting for something to change. The orchestrator you already run stays the orchestrator; it simply gains a listener.

dbt

Your models seed it

Teams that already model in dbt do not start their contracts from a blank page. Möbius imports existing dbt models and tests as the starting point for a semantic contract — the meaning your team has already expressed becomes the first draft of the declaration Möbius enforces.

The work you did to describe your data is not repeated in a second tool. It is promoted into something enforceable.

CI

Your pipeline ships it

Quality rules live as a versioned YAML artifact your team reviews, diffs and ships from CI — not as clicks in a console someone has to remember to make.

A build can also publish schema, models and contracts into Möbius as part of shipping, so governance state tracks the codebase instead of lagging it. Governance changes arrive through the same review process as every other change.

Warehouses

Your warehouse keeps the data

Möbius connects to Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Postgres, MySQL, Databricks or an on-premise store and governs what is already there. The rows do not move. Möbius holds the contract, the verdict and the evidence; your warehouse holds the data.

Certified output is published back into an exclusive-write namespace inside your own warehouse, and the governance state — what is certified, by whom, under which contract — is written there too, so it survives Möbius being switched off.

Governing warehouse-resident data in place is a Möbius Connect and Möbius Enclave capability.

Security tooling

Your SIEM subscribes

Your security or operations system subscribes to this workspace's governance events — certification decisions, posture deviations, role changes, credential mints, policy edits — and receives them where your analysts already work.

Möbius does not ask to become the place security events are read. It asks to be one more producer into the place they are read already. The feed is available on request rather than switched on by default.

Downstream systems

Your applications hear it

When certified data changes, the systems that depend on it are notified — signed, HTTPS only, with no insecure-transport override anywhere in the product.

For a whole group of related datasets, Möbius delivers one coalesced summary of what changed per window rather than a stream of rows. The subscriber reads back under its own credential, which means a notification can never become an unaudited data channel.

AI hosts

Your AI connects under scope

Third-party AI systems discover and read certified datasets with their semantic context attached, under a scoped machine credential — they see what that credential is entitled to see, masked to the same field rules as everyone else.

A person can also connect their own AI tool to the workspace and get exactly their own role's permissions. No shared service key, no privilege inflation, no separate governance model for the AI door.

What you do not have to rip out

Not the orchestrator. Not the transformation layer. Not the warehouse. Not the catalog you already paid for, if you want to keep it — describing data and governing data are different jobs, and only one of them is ours.

Nothing here is an agent running inside your infrastructure, and nothing here is a scheduled sweep across your estate. Möbius listens for events your systems already emit, and enforces at the moment data is used.

The consequence matters more than the mechanism: an estate can adopt Möbius one connection at a time, and can stop at any point with its governance state written into infrastructure it already owns.

If there is a seam in your estate this page does not cover, it is worth a conversation — the integration surface is shaped by the estates it meets.
